In Memory of Don Johnson

Like all of us who work for Granite Gear, Don Johnson enjoyed “wearing many hats” for the company. One of his roles was that of our warranty manager, and he was very serious about getting repairs or replacement products off to our customers as quickly as possible. In a very real way, he took a problem with any of our goods personally. While other companies take weeks to process a warranty return, Don got the majority of them taken care of in 2 or 3 days.

Don worked for us for nearly 23 years, enthusiastically tackling every job we threw at him. We are very sad to announce that he passed away over the weekend. If you sent something in for repair in the last two decades, chances are that Don handled it for you.

Granite Gear will be closed on Friday, February 3rd, from 10AM to 1PM central time, as we will be saying goodbye to our friend and coworker.
