Our Partners

  • Save the Boundary Waters

The Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters was founded in the spring of 2013 by local residents in Ely, Minnesota, and has grown into a national coalition of nonprofit organizations and allies committed to the goal of permanently protecting the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Specifically, the Campaign is working to keep Twin Metals and others who propose sulfide-ore copper mining in that area from polluting the watershed of this national treasure and damaging the stable and sustainable economy of its wilderness edge communities.
