Warranty & Returns

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Granite Gear products are warranted to the original owner for the lifetime of the product against defects in materials or workmanship under normal recreational use. If your Granite Gear product fails due to material or manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it at our option. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. *Wheeled products are warranted for five years from the purchase date.

Return Options

In order to expedite your warranty or repair requests, before sending your items back to Granite Gear, we ask that you download the warranty/repair form and email the completed form to info@granitegear.com.  You can download our Warranty or Repair form by ( clicking here ).  When returning the form please include the following: 1) photos (smaller pixels) of the problem area that you would like repaired or warrantied;  2) include a photo of the entire pack front and back 3) identify point of purchase.  This information will help to speed along the review and processing of your claim to determine the next step. You will receive an automatic reply from us when your email has been received, within 24-48 hours. If you do not receive the auto reply or hear back from us within this timeframe, please resend your email reducing the pixel size on the photos or sending multiple photos in separate emails.

Returns for Warranty or Repair

If your Granite Gear product fails due to material or manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it at our option. We ask that all products sent to us for warranty/repair are sent in clean condition ( review cleaning instructions ). Before returning a pack for repair, please remove belt, shoulder straps, extra pockets, frame sheet and any personal items from your pack. This will save in shipping costs and ensure no items are misplaced or lost.

International Returns:

For any international warranty/repair requests we ask that you contact Customer Service Mon-Fri at 1-800-222-8032 X02 or by email to info@granitegear.com . If you purchased your items outside the U.S. we ask that you work with the original store location. Granite Gear must pre-approve any international or outside the U.S. repairs/warranty requests prior to shipment. **Cost of shipping, duties, taxes are the responsibility of the customer.**

Returns for Credit or Exchange

Returns for credit or exchange only applies to item(s) purchased directly from Granite Gear. New unused items in resalable condition (with original tags and packaging can be returned within 30 days of your purchase. Items ordered from our website will be refunded through the site upon return and review of the new condition item(s). For items purchased through a retailer you will need to contact the retailer regarding the return of the items(s). Download, print, and complete this form to be included with your return by. Component Exchanges **Please call ahead for style and size availability of belts and shoulder straps**

Exchanges for new, unused hip belts or shoulder straps can be made by one of the following ways:

    • You can contact customer service at 1-800-222-8032 ext 02.

Returning Your Product

Before sending your items back to Granite Gear for warranty or repair we ask that you download our Warranty & Repair form, complete it and email info@granitegear.com with the following information:

  • 1) photos (smaller pixels) of the problem area that you would like repaired or warrantied also a photo of the entire pack front and back
  • 2) Order number (if applicable)/ identify point of purchase;
