Multicolor Hip Wing Voz Primavera

Quick Overview

Granite Gear has partnered with José González, founder of Latino Outdoors, on the Voz Primavera collection. José is an artist, writer, and conservationist educator who explores the intersection of environment and culture. He’s drawn inspiration from Chicano and other Latinx artists such as Jorge Enciso, poet Pablo Neruda, and graphics and aesthetics from socio-political movements from the 1960’s onward to create the Voz Primavera seen here. Design motifs from indigenous communities in Mexico throughout history are evident throughout the pattern.

All design elements, from the colors selected to the verbiage celebrated on the packs, have been a result of intentional collaboration between José, Karen Ramos (founder of Get Out Stay Out, an indigenous youth-led nonprofit which reconnects its community to the outdoors), and Teresa Baker (founder of Outdoor CEO Pledge, who connects leading outdoor brands and nonprofits with inclusion advocates to advance representation for people of color across the industry) with the Granite Gear team.

50% of the proceeds from the collection benefit José González and Latino Outdoors.
